Our shea butter has lots of great benefits:
FAIR TRADE
All Baraka Shea Butter is community certified fair trade. We pride ourselves on the fair treatment of the women and producers. You can learn more about our agreement here.
CONNECTION TO COMMUNITY
Every purchase has a direct impact on hardworking women and families in northern Ghana. We believe in creating value chains that make a difference, from the women who make Baraka Shea Butter all the way through to the consumers who use products made from it.
RAW AND UNREFINED
Handcrafted using traditional techniques so you know you’re only getting natural shea butter with no added chemicals. Unrefined shea butter also retains all its amazing skin benefits (over 75% of bioactive ingredients like vitamin A & E can be lost in the refining process).
MOISTURIZING
Shea butter is very nourishing and also acts as an emollient to help protect the skin by sealing in moisture.
SOOTHING
This rich butter can help to calm skin irritations such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.

High in vitamins and fatty acids, shea butter could help to minimize the appearance of scars, fine lines and stretch marks with regular use.
